Check Out SuViche at CityPlace's Award-Winning Design

Published January 9th, 2020 by Amandaf

Celebrating arts, culture, and overall great design, SuViche Hospitality Group is thrilled to announce that our architect partners, Saladino Design Studios, are the proud winners of a 2019 AIA Miami Design Award for its whimsical, colorful, and creative design of SuViche restaurant in Miami's CityPlace Doral.

Saladino Design Studios unveiled their new concept of our Peruvian-influenced Japanese restaurant that continues to wow the crowds with its garden-esque theme inspired by the vibrant colors of traditional Peruvian materials and fabrics blended with Miami's tropical environment. Our 3,800 square-foot restaurant features the wooden swinging chairs, vibrant pops of colors, orange and teal banquets, and a handwoven macramé rope mural with custom floral and moss graffiti that reads, "Let's Get Saucy."

More of the award-wining design includes orange metal-paneling around the bar showcasing a variety of our Pisco infusions, indigenous fresh herbs, fruits, and unique spices. The playful and whimsy continue with a variety of hanging planters and colorful hand-crafted wicker light fixtures, all custom-designed. The unique flooring consists of carefully milled wood and terrazzo to complement the overall design. As the brand's sixth location in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, SuViche Doral serves not only award-winning food but now an award-winning atmosphere to enjoy. Come and experience a magnificent fusion of sushi rolls, ceviche, and other Peruvian specialties while swinging around and getting saucy. Whether you are a design enthusiast or looking for a cool vibe, our colorful eatery is definitely worth checking out.

Healthy Benefits of Ceviche – Indulge in this Tasty Peruvian Dish

But fish isn't the only nutrient-rich ingredient in ceviche. Typical marinades and tossed-in ingredients include fresh limes, avocado, ginger, aji pepper, garlic, clove, chili, corn, onions, and sweet or blue potatoes. Limes —which add the sour element, are high in vitamin C, a natural antioxidant with an essential role in producing more collagen for healthier skin and tissue healing. Garlic, pepper, and onions are natural antibiotics with antiseptic properties that clean and protect airways, as well as alleviate common cold symptoms. Sweet potatoes are rich in fiber, vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, manganese, and beta-carotene – for a good vision. Corn and ginger are both good for digestion and weight control.

It should be noted that raw fish can carry certain bacteria’s, therefore experts warns people who have a compromised immune system, are pregnant, or allergic to fish to refrain from eating ceviche.

All of our recipes are scratch-made with the utmost attention to quality.  From our tangy sauces to fresh-cut veggies, we take great care and pride in preparing every dish at SuViche. And if taste wasn't enough, we offer plenty of light and naturally healthy ceviche dishes to complement your healthy lifestyle. Check out our under 500 calorie menu to help keep you on track.
